I don't mean the pandemic. Or the upcoming presidential election. I'm talking about getting down and dirty.
With pausing. And sitting still within yourself. To do self-reflection and inner work. The kind of personal heavy-lifting in wellness that's required to effectively navigate the shifting tides and times of change we're finding ourselves in.
Introspection involves looking within. And that can be scary. Yet it is so important to do. Because it reveals questions and answers, sometimes unconscious ones, that fuel our choices.
React, or respond? Fear, or love? Lack, or abundance? Self-centeredness, or gratitude? Mask, or no mask? Biden, or Trump? Inner-thinking helps us intentionally shape who we choose to be.
Self-reflection can often be uncomfortable, too. Because it reveals obstacles impeding our progress in life and wellness. Like the heavy mud of childhood programming. Trauma. And any other challenges that get slung our way.
Yet it is this scary, uncomfortable work that unlocks unlimited, positive potential. For growth. For serenity, courage, and wisdom.
For learning how to lead your health, alignment, and achievement on your terms.
